Seeing is Believing!

After reading a number of emails about the doubts people have, we thought, rather that just talk health and fitness we decided it would be better to prove it!

We are currently interviewing several people who have volunteered to go through a 13 week exercise and food regiment program just to show you how it is done. Whoever we choose is going to follow the same plan we have be teaching for over 20 years.

We will post pictures and medical information as well as food and exercise routines.

Stay tuned!

Simple Guide to Health & Fitness

How often have we said...."that's it, I'm tired of being out of shape; I'm sick of feeling tired all the time!! I'm going to start getting in shape today!"? We have all said it..... how many of us have really done it? How many really know where to start? Or what to do? How many of us start and end in frustration?

If you are ready, really ready to change and want to know how to "start from where you are" and see real results in a short time.....results that will motivate you to continue, then hang-on....your life is about to change! And it's not as hard as you might think.

Let's first deal with some realities.....see if my experience with the dreaded bathroom mirror sounds familiar.

My Self-Belief and the Reality......

I have been an athlete most of my 53 years and still I slip when it comes to true fitness and health. Slip? OH that’s the right word…..more like FELL down a deep crevasse! (MMM sounds like my conscience!)

Now the Truth......

I recently discovered that my 245 lb/6% body fat athletic body had blossomed into a robust 330lb/32% body fat Santa Claus look-a-like. NOW there was a SITE! Looking in the mirror, I ask the same question we all ask…..How in hades did I get here! The truth be known, we all know how! and we all hate to admit it! Then it happens:
  1. Denial
  2. Acceptance
  3. Anger, Frustration & Embarrassment
  4. Determination
Ah yes! Then DETERMINATION sets in…. "I am going to do something right NOW!! even if it is wrong!”…..So I declared and I made it know to all around!

We all know of course…. IT WAS WRONG…..no frustration there. But I refused to quit!! Then somewhere from the recesses comes that still small voice of “COMMON SENSE”!

We have all been there in some form or another!

I am going to show you the 4 keys to that Common Sense and what to look for to assure you are on the right track to fitness and health! When it comes to fitness and health, there are as many different approaches as there are sands in the sea....not real comforting? In Part 1, I cut through the "hype" and give you the 4 basic principles associated with both great fitness and health and then take you to the site that best implements these 4 basics.

The Common Sense approach to Fitness and Health contain four very simple parts, they are equal and work in harmony. They are as follows:

  • A sensible nutrition plan
  • Cardiovascular exercise (no, the TV changer is not a cardio workout, I tried that!);
  • Some sort of weight training. (oh goodness SWEAT!)
  • Mental and physical acuity

Now I could you go through a long and drawn process of technical reviews that would bore even me to death. Better to say: I know of many great sites but in particular this site stands out above the rest for both beginners or those of us starting over. This is where we cut to the chase and get the TRUE plan for both Physical & Mental success. The best guide I have worked comes from Jon Benson at CLICK HERE. Don't let the "over 40" fool you, I have seen all ages successfully doing the "plan".

A great place to be motivated by quick changes to body & mind is: GO HERE

In the next blog, I will review: "What you should expect in the process".
